These artworks embody an ironic interpretation of the theme which is two-fold. Firstly, they combine the traditional medium of drawing with the contemporary medium of the digital tablet and stylus. And secondly, three-dimensional subjects are thus rendered in two dimensions—wherein the resulting silhouette nonetheless delimits the expansion of but one singular flat area of colour in evocation of a particular mood or emotion. As for installation, these artworks may be presented as inkjet prints, or alternately due to their graphical simplicity and uniformity of colour may alternately be transformed into some size of wall mural.
