Artsy Artwork Tags for Museums
This article outlines how Artsy institutions can show if an artwork is part of a permanent collection or on loan.
Many Artsy institutional partners have requested a way to highlight whether an artwork is part of their permanent collection or on loan. We are thrilled to announce that this feature is now available in Artsy CMS.

To use this new feature, you will first need to log in to your Artsy CMS (our content management system) and choose artworks to update. If you have trouble accessing your account, please email [email protected] for assistance.
When uploading an artwork to your Artsy CMS, you will now need to specify the work’s “availability” in order to publish it to any show or collection featured on your profile. For institutions, this means choosing one of two artwork availability options within Artsy CMS: Permanent Collection or On Loan.
This availability will now be added to the artwork page that displays for Artsy users on the front end of the site.
