Isabella Garrucho, whose love of art began decades ago as a collector, is the president and founder of the Isabella Garrucho Fine Art Gallery. Additionally, she was the former founder and owner of the internationally renowned art consulting company, Art Service International. Born in Spain and educated in Brazil, Isabella has been in the business for thirty-seven years and was the number-one corporate art dealer in Fairfield County. Through her extensive experience, Isabella gained incomparable knowledge of the corporate art world: she was responsible for assembling art collections for numerous top Fortune 500 companies and private clients, hiring professional staff, and training of sales personnel for her company.

As a discreet advisor, Isabella has worked diligently to help establish collectors and corporations with every aspect of the maintenance of their collections. Her bachelor’s degree in art history paired with her fluency in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese, allows her to offer impeccable service to both national and international clients on matters of research, connoisseurship, acquisitions, insurance, installations and sale of artwork. Isabella’s international travels have enhanced her knowledge of country protocol and honed her exceptional people skills, making her an unparallelled negotiator and consummate art consultant.

During the increased market demand for corporate art investments during the bullish 1980’s, Art Service International was recognized as one of the premier art consulting companies in both Connecticut and New York. Her company’s reputation for authority, integrity and service enabled her business to prosper with over 100 leading corporate clients. Her company also diversified and organized numerous cultural exchange programs with Asian countries, working closely with the Minister of Culture and other senior government officials. Isabella’s art advisory services has been publicly acknowledged by Taiwan’s Minister of Culture, Ms. Helen Chen-Chin Lin, in recognition of her contribution to a successful cultural art exchange program held in Oklahoma in 1999.

Spanning over twenty years, her consultancy career ensures thorough understanding of art, the market and the needs of the private and corporate collectors in changing economic conditions. Isabella strives to continue to use her broad knowledge of the market, extensive inventory of original works, and unique access to the art world, to help her clients find any piece they seek. Isabella and the staff at Isabella Garrucho Fine Art Gallery, offer an unprecedented selection of modern and contemporary fine art at premier locations in Greenwich, Washington Depot, and Long Island City, in a collective effort to continue in sharing her knowledge and engage the broader community with ever-changing exhibitions and special events.
