I’ve been subjective in my selection – just choosing works I would want to collect if I was in a position to be do so. Quite a few of them are just because I know and like the artists – so it’s all quite personal.

I have chosen a lot of women.  I don’t think this is affirmative action as such, although there probably needs to be.
