Matt Connor's is the epitome of a true artist and his process driven paintings work on your subconscious and stain your memory in the best possible way. We exhibited Matt's work in a group show when we had a gallery in LA and sold it to many of our collectors and I want them all back! His show at MOMA's PS1 was a masterpiece of opulent grunge restraint and it is painful not to own them all, and when I feel that feeling I know he will be huge, and he is well on the way and wildly deserving.
