Through a combination of drawing, painting, sculpture and moving image techniques, León & Cociña (Chile) have composed Los Andes, a video animation in which a degenerating office is possessed by the spirit of a sacred messenger. This work is part of the El Tercer Mundo [The Third World] series, in which the artists have examined the continent’s mythical origins, creating a series of films that express various imaginary transformations between the New World and the Third World.
