There are many different paths that we can take but at each juncture in life we are forced to make a decision. At this crucial moment we can only choose one of the thousands of possibilities.

Once we have chosen a path all the things that could have been and all the different outcomes fade into nothing more than fleeting memories of lives not lived.

While the choice we make may seem random and while we may feel we have no control over what is happening in our lives all choices that we make lead us down a self-determined path.

This work looks at the things that could have been, the things that could be and the way we get to where we are.

1000 fortunes, meant to provide guidance and inspiration, are placed in this cube to represent these many possibilities.
