My Highlights from The Salon: Art + Design 2014
I chose older artworks like Dubuffet’s piece, along with newer and more contemporary pieces like Joana Vasconcelos’ wall sculptures. I love the history that comes with vintage pieces like Jean Prouvé’s chairs, but my eye and my design practice are always embracing the new like the magnificent designs of Sebastian Errazuriz. It's the balance of old and new that, in my opinion, makes a room unique.
My Selection:
Rasmus Fenhann, Hikari, 2014 at Galerie Maria Wettergren
Joana Vasconcelos, Side by Side, 2013 at Gallery SEOMI
Joana Vasconcelos, Copacabana, 2012 at Gallery SEOMI
