Introducing the Williams Prize in Drawing for Emerging Artists
Portfolios of up to four drawings can be submitted February 1 through March 31, 2014, via CaFE (www.callforentry.org) for the 2014 Williams Prize in Drawing for Emerging Artists.
The Williams Prize is designed for applicants who are creating 2D drawings
with either traditional methods, or more experimental contemporary approaches
and materials. Drawing media that is encouraged includes, but is not limited
to, chalk, charcoal, Conté, graphite, marker, metal-point, pastel, pen &
ink, pencil, or other marking materials. Please, no video or digitally created,

Juror: Fred Wessel (www.fredwessel.com), a master of drawing in
silverpoint, as well as the creator of a luminous body of work using egg
