Discover the Mastery of Hans Wendt's Watercolour Paintings

PEI artist Hans Wendt is known for his large-scale photo-realistic watercolour paintings.  The watercolours in our show are paper colour samples that he has cut & torn, arranged into careful compositions and then painted in a large scale.  Essentially the work is painting about painting: colour, composition, shape, line, texture, light and shadow.  The work also references the history of painting and abstract art.
