When Pigs Fly, Owls Will Ride

I don't know what inspired Jeremy Fish to create this wood carving of an owl riding on a pig, but until proven otherwise I'm just going to assume it was something he saw in nature.

If you zoom in, you'll see why this very pleasant work is called The Epidemic: a mysterious third creature is perched on the owl while wearing a gas mask. Let's hope the owl and pig are immune!

The Epidemic was apparently also sold in Japan in the form of a T-shirt which neither you nor I were hip enough to know about before it sold out. The Japanese site has been machine translated into English and helpfully describes the work as follows:

"Line "SUPERFISHAL" of Jeremy Fish( Jeremy fish) which describes a heartwarming painting in catchy though I feel sick."

Word!
