About the Exhibitor

In collaboration with 53 Art Museum in Guangzhou, Y&M Space has played an important role in introducing artists outside China to Guangzhou audiences and helping to establish an active dialogue among artists and institutions working at home and abroad. Prior to the establishment of the space early this year, Y&M sponsored a series of contemporary art exhibitions including East & West Exhibition Series (I): In the Flesh by Billy Cowie VS Reproduction by Feng Feng, Spilt Attention, Black Screen: 01 Team Show in the Year of Dragon and 8 to 8 Video Art, etc, bringing international artists, such as Billy Cowie, Michelle Handelman, Sonia Boyce, Lynne Marsh, Simin Keramati, and Agnieszka Polska to Guangzhou, China.
