About the Exhibitor
Galleria Michela Rizzo is situated in a fascinating 16th century Venetian Palace close to Piazza San Marco. The gallery inaugurated in 2004, and since then worked with a number of important artists, and also collaborated with important institutions such as; the Civic Museums of Venice (2008 Lawrence Carroll and 2011 Roman Opalka at Museum Correr, 2010 Tony Cragg at Ca' Pesaro Museum and 2011 Barry X Ball at Ca' Rezzonico Museum). Other exhibitions were held at Museum Villa Croce in Genoa, Kunsthalle in Goppingen and GC. AC. Galleria Comunale dʼArte Contempornea di Monfalcone. Both young and established, local and international artists are represented by Galleria Michela Rizzo, amongst whom; Vito Acconci, Barry X Ball, Peter Blake, Lawrence Carroll, Tony Cragg, Roberto de Pol, Leon Ferrari, Andrea Frank, Hamish Fulton, Damien Hirst, Francesco Jodice, Fabio Mauri, Sebastiano Mauri, Antoni Muntadas, Richard Nonas, Roman Opalka, David Rickard, Mariateresa Sartori, David Tremlett and Franco Vaccari.
