About the work: Nam June Paik (1932–2006) was a Korean artist who spent most of his working life in Germany and the US . He worked in a variety of media including performance, music, painting and sculpture, however, he is best known for his use of television and video in his art. He has been widely called “The Father of Video Art” and continues to inspire new generations of artists. Nam June Paik's work is in numerous public collections around the world.
