About the Exhibitor

Chatterjee & Lal was formed in 2003 by husband and wife team Mortimer Chatterjee and Tara Lal. Based in Mumbai's Colaba art district, the gallery’s program is focused both on the work of emerging artists and historical material. Increasingly the interest of the directors is towards the collapsing of the boundaries that have traditionally held apart work of differing practices and divergent timelines.
