About the work: Gathering cues from stock footage and animated GIFs, Lorem ipsum 1 is a video of fragmented clips coalescing into a narrative. The piece exists simultaneously in both digital and celluloid realms—between desktop interface, color field and cinematic space. The work interrogates spectatorship and the perception of image-surface.
