Neuehouse to Host Art World Luminaries with Frieze VIP Lounge Speaker Series
Neuehouse is pleased to announce its program for Frieze New York 2014. Presenting conversations both at the Neuehouse Frieze VIP Lounge on Randall’s Island and on-site at 110 East 25th Street, the Neuehouse Speaker Series features a cross-pollination of some of today’s most influential and noteworthy artists and cultural critics, including Dan Colen, Walton Ford, Lawrence Weiner, Jill Magid, and Dodie Kazanjian.
Visitors to the Neuehouse-designed Frieze VIP Lounge will be immersed in a signature experience designed specifically for the event. Collectors, dealers and influencers alike will be able to enjoy intimate conversations in several unique secluded areas such as custom-made cabanas, food from Marlow & Sons in a seated dining room, and spectacular views from a private outdoor deck.
Since its debut less than one year ago, Neuehouse has developed widespread relationships with the artistic community. In addition to exhibiting works from such artists as Dustin Yellin, Adam Pendleton, Carter, Matt Connors, McCallum and Tarry, and Peter Gallo throughout its public spaces, Screening Room, Library and Canteen, Neuehouse has developed events with Performa, MoMA, Creative Time, and Artsy, and organized talks from Shantell Martin, David LaChapelle with Captain Paul Watson, Ryan McNamara with Roselee Goldberg, Tom Sachs with WuTang Clan, Christo, and more.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the excitement that Frieze New York generates,” says Neuehouse founder Joshua Abram. “Art and artistry are the fiber of what we strive to deliver for our Members and Guests. This is a natural extension of our core values.”
Neuehouse is the world’s first private work collective in which one’s place of business is also an environment for learning, inspiration, collaboration and hospitality. Members at Neuehouse are leaders in film, fashion, design, publishing and the arts leading a global roster of innovative companies of one to twenty people. This series marks a continuation of Neuehouse’s extensive and diverse programming of high-profile talks, discussions, and performances which reflect the diverse backgrounds of its members. This essential element of the Neuehouse experience seeks to inspire, prompt a dialogue and develop a free flow of ideas among its community.
