Nicknamed the “Noble Buyer,” John Quinn (1870-1924) was an established attorney in New York City with a penchant for politics, contemporary Irish literature, and modern art. As a cutting-edge collector with a progressive spirit, Quinn lent and bought more artworks than any other collector or dealer at the 1913 Armory Show.
