Architecture

I'm a bit of a vagabond, tomorrow I head back over to England. So the artsy iOS team spent a good chunk of yesterday whiteboarding programming architecture.
Computer architecture meetings are a lot like trying to plan out the important steps involved in writing a story. Figuring out the intentions of all the characters involved and making sure everyone has motivations that makes sense. It's a great chance to try see everything from a birds eye view.
In this case we realised that some of our previous assumptions would have totally bitten us a few weeks down the line. And I think we'll have a better product for it.
Meetings get a bad rep. Mostly deservedly so, but they're so rare for us that when they do they're relevant.
