Grape syrup action for Paul Octavian Nasca's U smile 800% slower, 2011
Gallery Diet

I'm no Art Historian, but I luckily have a few friends who are. Whilst working at we get a lot of exposure to interesting and odd artworks and I figured now would be a good time to start collating the ones I save into a series of blog posts.

I'm starting off with Angry Peacock with Own My Eye which is part of a really surreal series of animal photos with the artist's eyes replacing the originals. It reminds me a lot of adverts in the early 2000s in the UK where it was a common trope to badly animate animal pictures. In a similar animation style to South Park.

Finalising todays post is Grape syrup action for Paul Octavian Nasca's U smile 800% slower which is a still frame from an animation of a man spraying a room with Grape syrup ( I presume. ) He feels totally overdressed for the occasion. But actually doing that must be so much fun!  I feel a certain affinity to the man in the video as its a theme with my band Kierononon to dress up in similar clothes.
