Its nice to remember that the art world also moves with the real world and that the new can influence the old. 

The idea of a pixel as a root element of composition existed due to constraints in hardware but now it's used as a style even when the constraints on colours and diameters have been smashed. The phone I write this on has pixels so small I struggle to see their edges.
