I spotted Ian looking at some works from my favourite painter Glenn Brown and he recommended that I check out Allison Schulnik who also has this awesome impasto painterly works. I even used the word dimensionality in the discussion. 

Also spotted the amazing gene unsettling. Definitely recommend a look in there.
