From "Endless Blues" book

Pacita Abad: I love mixing paint and materials and sewing them onto my canvases. My friends know this and I am constantly surprised by packages of many different materials dropped off at my studio or saved for me by shopkeepers. They then laugh when they see a bit of them in one of my paintings, like “It’s all over now baby blue” and “Daydreaming”.
