Notice of Kyoto gallery moving
Kyoto gallery changed its name to "Japanesque" in 2014 and has been patronized by many photographers and customers so far. And on April 1, Artisan Japanesque moved again into the newly established "Kyoto Museum of Photography“ where go southward about 50 meters along Jingumichi Street.
Kyoto Museum of Photography has just established on April 1st near Heian Shrine.
In the new space, it will be reborn into a bigger gallery with three exhibition spaces where are called “Yuki”, “Tsuki” and “Hana” in each of the three spaces. These names derived from "Setsugestuka.”
What is "Setsugestuka”? This is a word that appears in Waka from ancient times, and points to the beautiful scenery of every season in Japan.
We will try to operate the space with the feeling of season so that everyone who visited can enjoy the taste of each exhibition work and seasons.
As a commemoration of the opening, Yusuo Kiyonaga's new work exhibition "Winter Wonderland" has been held from Saturday, April 1st, Sat to May 14th, Sun on the first floor at the room “Tsuki”, "Wall in the city" has been held from April 1 (Sat) to May 6 (Saturday) on the 2nd Floor at Room “Hana”. Please drop in when you come to Kyoto.
