Nov 1, 2013 7:22PM

The seventh edition of PINTA NY opens November 14-17, 2013 with a new, curated format that includes four new sections—EMERGE, VIDEO, CENTRO, and NEXT—in addition to the Modern and Contemporary GALLERIES section.

As the only Modern and Contemporary Latin American art show in the US, PINTA NY will present a compelling selection of 60 international exhibitors from 20 countries throughout the Americas, Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal.

Adding to the revamped format is the fair’s new SoHo location, inside the historic 82MERCER building re-designed for the fair by architect Warren James. Inside, visitors can dine and lounge in partner restaurant Comodo’s social space of sculptural Ray Smith tables and chairs in between viewing exhibitor’s booths. In addition to international galleries’ booths, there are several hosted by the fair’s cultural partners, such as Museo Gurvich’s solo project booth of rarely exhibited works by José Gurvich. Fairgoers can also expect to see a selection of works throughout the fair on loan from notable, private collections including the Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz Collection.
