Tibor "Ted" Rubin, recipient of the Medal of Honor and Holocaust survivor, celebrated his eighty-fifth birthday on June 18.

He posed for me in late 2009.  Our meeting in Garden Grove, California was facilitated by the Congressional Medal Of Honor Society (http://www.cmohs.org/) and the Jewish War Veterans of the USA (http://www.jwv.org/)  The quote in the portrait is from the Medal of Honor citation, which may be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibor_Rubin
