"I DO, I DO" (Jun 29-Sept 9, 2017) presented a collection of nuptial cabinet card photographs (ca. 1885-1900), all made by studios in Wisconsin—perhaps beyond coincidence—and a collection of vintage wedding cake toppers that survived their ephemeral tiered kingdoms, as powerful symbols do.
