About the Judges

John Elderfield is Chief Curator Emeritus of Painting and Sculpture, The Museum of Modern Art, New York, and a Senior Advisor at Artsy.

Branden W.  Joseph is a Rauschenberg scholar and the Frank Gallipoli Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art, Columbia University, New York.

Shirin Neshat is an international artist, filmmaker, and recipient of the Rauschenberg Foundation’s One-to-One initiative, 2013.

Christopher Rauschenberg is a photographer and President, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation.

Sarah Roberts is the Andrew W. Mellon Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the primary author and Director, SFMOMA’s Rauschenberg Research Project.
