The series of "Black Landscape" is an artwork that connects the nature of Korea and the United States together. The landscape was expressed as a black forest, representing the landscape of Korea and the U.S. In the Eastern culture, black color is the color of everything. The black space between paintings is a device that connects time and space such as a black hole in the universe. The series of "Forest of Life" is an ongoing project with a 120 pieces of work, the season of spring, summer and winter was made of ink, and autumn was colored with dominant acrylic colors.

“While I draw pictures in the forest every day, I am learning the greatness and emptiness of life and death by witnessing dry branches and fresh green leaves and the birds ringing in the forest and the fallen old trees, the falling of blossom and maple leaves, shabby end.”
