D-day to V-day

Satisfyingly simple to make, and glide for yards with the flick of a wrist. I love the feeling this work gives of stopped motion to these products made to move. An aftermath of playtime. I'm reminded of my own fourth grade class, making paper airplanes with a tip so pointy they could almost draw blood. Maybe they're stopped in a crevice or bush somewhere- or even better caught wind and ended up somewhere much farther away.
If paper airplanes don't seem magic enough, check out the recent Disney short film, Paperman, where paper planes are used to carry a message (fitting for valentines day).
