My #PickOfTheDay: Unseen Warhol

These rare photographs had been nearly forgotten by photographer William John Kennedy, but luckily were recently rediscovered in his archive. 

They were taken in 1964 and captured young Warhol holding his prints that will have become iconic in just a few years. 

My favorite work from the series shows Warhol demonstrating a transparent proof of the silkscreen of Marilyn's face. It was taken at the Factory and documents the rising Pop Art star in action.
