Shaky walk through Prince Street Gallery, Chelsea NY

Emersion, the only round canvas in the show - people tilted their heads and said "I definitely see a strong voice of feminism", while I scratched my head and thought of the ritual of emersion, known in Kolkata - the city where I grew up, described by the Webster dictionary as, "the process or state of emerging from or being out of water after being submerged" - a process of renewal! However it might speak to anyone, the fact that it speaks at all is quite enough for me : )
