COSMIC CONNECTIONS

The cosmic gauntlet is down. We ask all emerging and established artists, 18 years of age and older to respond to our theme “Cosmic Connections”. Are we connected to the Universe? Are we alone? Is the Universe in us? Do you feel the ”cosmic wind”? I ask you to go outside and look up in our sky and picture yourself as a deep seeing artist that sees our world now, just as that small group of artists once took their paints outside and looked to the sky for their inspiration. Later they were called the impressionists. Unaccepted at the time they pushed their world forward. Try to arise to our invitation. Cosmic Connections is our juried exhibition shown during the Basel week in Miami. An esteemed jury will choose artwork based upon artistic excellence, innovation and originality.

The 2014 lead juror, Roberta Gonella, has twenty years’ experience in the art world, as gallery owner, art consultant, and curator of various art events around the world. Roberta was responsible for introducing to the Miami market “The Young Mandarins” which showed at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2006.
