Live Google Hangout This Thursday

Interested in what was being exhibited this year at Art Basel Miami Beach? This Thursday, members of Artsy’s Art Genome Project will be informally discussing their highlights from the fairs and other events in and around Miami—as well as trends they see in the contemporary art world—via a half-hour live Google Hangout on Air. 

We thought this event would be useful for those who didn't get to attend the fairs, and a new way in which we could fulfill our mission of providing access to the art world to anyone with an Internet connection. Additionally, we were inspired by museums' recent efforts (like those of The Museum of Modern Art, New York) to engage with larger audiences live via the new Hangouts technology.

Tune in to the Artsy Google+ page at 4 PM EST to watch the Hangout. Also, during the final portion of the broadcast, ask questions (and vote others’ questions up) via Google’s new Questions feature. If you miss the broadcast, you can watch the Hangout after the fact on Artsy’s page or on YouTube.
