In the month of March--Women’s History Month--N.A.W.A. presents a group exhibit of beautifully diverse and provocative visual statements relating to the persevering plight of the ever-evolving woman artist. The artworks featured in “Ev(e)olution IV” reveal how various women artists master life’s pressures while continuously bringing new energy to their work. How do women artists explore visual media, expand their interests, multi-task, and still find time to create? These challenges have driven the persistent efforts of N.A.W.A. artists for 125 years. Today, friends, families, collectors, and art lovers alike may take part in this persevering legacy by viewing and purchasing original art by talented professional women artists from all over the country. As with past exhibitions, this show will support N.A.W.A.’s infinite mission: to give women artists opportunities to exhibit their work. A reception will be held at the Riverside Public Library on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 2-4 pm. An accompanying gallery talk will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 2-4 pm.
