Rhoda Sherbell: Invitational Solo Exhibition
It was a busy day yesterday at the N.A.W.A. Gallery: setting up work by this year's honoree artist, Rhoda Sherbell. Sherbell's representative interpretation of high profile dignitaries are more than just accurate likenesses. She has sculpted noted diplomatic world figures, as well as people in the arts and sports fields. Her works excel in capturing the soul of each personality, which enhances credibility, and renders each piece so much more than merely a clay or bronze record of a person's existence.
Rhoda Sherbell's Exhibition opens today, May 2nd, and will be on display until May 28th. Please stop by the N.A.W.A. Gallery (80 Fifth Avenue, Suite 1405, NYC) to see this fantastic exhibition of pastels and bronze sculptures. There is a reception Thursday, May 9th between 3:30 and 5:00 pm. Gallery Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
