Tucker Robbins
For over 25 years Tucker Robbins has been creating art furniture, iconic shapes, familiar yet ancient, modern yet primitive. Tucker Robbins has designed over 300 pieces in wood, metal and clay as an homage to Brancusi, the furnishings of 5 lounges will interpret his gifts to the world of art and design. One hundred years ago, the first 1913 armory show was praised and criticized, as the ground breaking artists: Constantin Brancusi, Marcel Duchamp, Henri Matisse, among others, were introduced. Presently, the show and Tucker Robbins continue to open new frontiers of art, new ways of experiencing design through new shapes and forms.
