To create this post, I looked for common characteristics between the work of the Belgians Magritte and Martin Margiela:
The Maison refers to itself as "iconoclast, avant-garde and experimental [...] [It] expresses its creativity through recycling, transformation and reinterpretation - like an emotion, a unique and timeless proposal defying all laws and rules."
Similarly, Magritte, with his allegoric and surrealistic work, challenges observers' preconditioned perceptions of reality.
