"The Jewel of Seoul"

Designed by architect Kim Seung-hoy, the World Jewellery Museum is an elaborate combination of copper, glass, stainless steel, wood and concrete, based on the scale of the life residing in the neighborhood.

The curling alleyways which are the essence of Bukchon’s beauty is reflected in the meticulously measured approach to the pyramid-like interior.  

The museum has earned its reputation as the “Jewel of Seoul” with its outstanding architecture and innovative approach to installation design.
