Several individuals have compare the work of Jean-Pierre Lafrance with Jean-Paul Riopelle and Paul Borduas. It could be similar to the work of the Automatism canadian group that have been specialized in the Abstract painting. Lafrance does not seems to plan is work, I feel that he just do it and it is intuitive. But his work is a mixed of colours that deliver very great results.

I was very please to make an acquizition of that painting from Lafrance. The title: Le lendemain d'hier (tomorrow yesterday), make me think that we celebrating at the current moment without realizing the impact on tomorrow. Basically this piece of art is a celebration of the current moment.
