Green Mountain Opera Festival at West Branch Gallery

West Branch Gallery & Sculpture Park hosted the Green Mountain Opera Festival on May 30, 2014. Hosted by GMOF Artistic Director Bruce Stasyna, those in attendance enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres alongside great art and a live performance by members of the Festival’s acclaimed Emerging Artist Program.

The Green Mountain Opera Festival, now in its 9th year, is considered one of New England’s premier opera producers. Sponsored by the Green Mountain Cultural Center [non-profit 501(c)(3)], and supported in part by grants from the Vermont Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts – Art Works, the festival presents professional opera at the historic Barre Opera House, venues in the Mad River Valley, and beyond. Events in Central and Northern Vermont are enjoyed by local and regional visitors alike. Audiences greet performances with warmth and enthusiasm, and collectively laud this artistic gem based in the Mad River Valley.
