Martine Feipel (Luxembourger, born 1975) and Jean Bechameil (French, born 1964) have lived and worked together since 2008. At the Venice Art Biennale in 2011, they presented an installation entitled « The closed circle » in the Luxembourg Pavilion. They questioned the perception of space, a recurring question throughout their work. At the gallery, they will present a recent installation, as well as new pieces, completing the « Un Monde Parfait » series and offering a reflection on the utopia of modernist architecture from the 1950s-1970s in France. « It is the feeling of a fallen dream, of the ideology attached to these architectures and its removal from reality 50 years later that interest us », they said.
