ZⓈONAMACO presents its fifteenth edition with a selection of international art from more than 130 galleries across 27 countries.
Main Section
Over 70 galleries feature internationally acclaimed artists, selected by a committee including Stefania Bortolami (Bortolami Gallery, New York), Ben Loveless (Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm / Berlin), Patricia Ortiz Monasterio (Galería OMR, Mexico City) and Fernando Mesta (House of Gaga, Mexico City).
New Proposals
Curated by Humberto Moro (Guadalajara, 1982), this section represents an emerging generation and encourages galleries to create work opportunities for young artists.
ZⓈONAMACO Sur
Curator Kiki Mazzucchelli presents 'The Logic of Materials', with artworks in different mediums playing an essential role in the construction of meanings.
Modern Art
Historical pieces by international artists span across genres and represent emblematic works produced during the first half of the twentieth century. Selection committee includes Alejandra Yturbe (GAM, Mexico City), Mariana Pérez Amor (GAM, Mexico City) and Enrique Guerrero (Galería Enrique Guerrero, Mexico City).
DISEÑO
In its 8th edition and curated by Cecilia León de la Barra (Mexico City, 1975), DISEÑO presents a selection of local and international studios and galleries exhibiting furniture, jewelry, limited editions, and both utilitarian and decorative objects produced from the 1920s on.
