Aggie Zed

Aggie Zed is originally from Charleston, South Carolina. She grew up on Sullivan’s island in a large family. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Fine Arts. She made a living as artist designing and building chess sets. Her work in clay has progressed to include a series of widely-collected human-animal hybrid figures. Her work ranges from intimately scaled ceramic figures to drawings and paintings. Zed currently lives in Gordonsville, Virginia with her husband and animals.
