Aida Urbina
A border artist, she holds a degree in Visual Arts from UABC. Her work focuses on the discipline of painting, using it as a means to explore and portray personal questions regarding the human experience, its context, and the landscape.
She was a beneficiary of the PECDA BC 2018-19. She has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, including winning the acquisition award at the II Elías Fontes Visual Arts Salon (2022) and receiving honorable mentions at the Baja California Plastic Arts Biennial (2023), the Gulf of California Álvaro Blancarte Biennial (2024), and the Alfonso Pérez Romo Biennial (2023). She has also held solo exhibitions, such as Anidar en escombro (2024), Resistir al asfalto(2023), and Radiografía del hogar (2019).
She currently lives and works in Tijuana.
