Andrej Pavlič

Andrej Pavlič (b. 1957, Ljubljana) is a Slovenian painter whose work has been showcased in over 100 solo exhibitions and more than 200 group exhibitions across Europe and beyond. After completing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1981, he became a member of the Slovenian Association of Fine Artists (DSLU) in 1982 and has worked as an independent visual artist since 1984.
Pavlič’s artistic development has been enriched by multiple residencies at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (1994, 2010, 2013). His work has been exhibited in cities such as Ljubljana, Maribor, Piran, Zagreb, Belgrade, Vienna, Barcelona, London, and Paris, and has been featured in international exhibitions in Italy, Austria, Spain, France, Germany, Canada, and the UK.
Beyond exhibitions, Pavlič has participated in numerous art symposia and painting colonies in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Austria, Spain, and France. His contributions to contemporary painting have been recognized with multiple awards, both domestically and internationally.
