Ayotunde Ayomide

Ayotunde Ayomide, based in Oyo, Oyo State, is a versatile artist specializing in painting and mixed media. He began his artistic journey with training in sign writing at Mide Print in Ilora before refining his skills at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, where he graduated in 2018 with a focus on Fine and Applied Art. Guided by his mentor Oluwafemi Afolabi, Ayotunde's work incorporates African cultural themes, particularly through the use of acrylic on canvas. His art often features basket weaving motifs, symbolizing themes of transformation and the cyclical nature of life. Ayotunde’s practice is centered on conveying messages of motivation, hope, and faith, reflecting his deep connection to African traditions and his commitment to sharing these values through his art.
