Bazbon

Born in 1988, Bazbon had a deep interest in street culture, hip-hop, and subculture from an early age. The artist creates works that span across various mediums, such as illustrations, cartoons, paintings, and GIF animations. During his teenage years in the early 2000s, he was exposed to various foreign cultures and art forms through the rapid spread of the Internet. He embraced "popular culture" as a major source of inspiration for his life and work, and incorporated various elements into his art ranging from paintings, cartoons, music, and camping.
Bazbon embodies popular culture in his work in response to contemporary society's emotions and senses. The artist first creates digital drafts, then uses various materials including acrylics, gouache, watercolors, and markers, to produce the final artwork that denotes the characteristics of modern visual media and the concepts of pop art. For instance, his art toys signify the potentiality of modern art and expand his spectrums within the art world. One of his characters, “Shady,” symbolizes the artist himself and his inner self and emotions.
Bazbon is a multi-disciplinary artist who creates art across various mediums, including painting, brand collaborations, illustrations, art toys, and character design. The artist previously collaborated with numerous renowned fashion brands such as "Nike," "Dr. Martins, “Ape,” “MCM” and “Ellesse.”
