Brígida Baltar starts with small, poetic acts that take place around her home and studio, such as gathering raindrops that seep through cracks in her roof and dust from the clay bricks in her walls. Baltar is deeply influenced by the practices of the Brazilian Neo-Concrete artists Lygia Clark and Hélio Oiticica.
