Biography

Camille Eskell exhibits her work in the U.S. and abroad. Recent shows include Crashing the Party at Plaxall Gallery, LIC, Tradition Interrupted at the Lesher Center for the Arts, CA, Domicile at Fountain House Gallery, The Fez As Storyteller at SUNY/Geneseo, Between I and Thou at the Hudson Valley MOCA, and The Neo-Victorians at the Hudson River Museum, NY.

Eskell’s work is in several collections (Hudson River Museum, Chrysler Museum of Art, the Housatonic Museum of Art). She was a recently awarded an Artist Fellowship Excellence grant (CT Office of the Arts) adding to those from the NY Foundation of the Arts and the CT Commission on the Arts. She received reviews in publications such as The New York Times, CT Post, Art New England, and the Huffington Post, Posit 19 and Ante Mag. Residencies are Weir Farm and the Vermont Studio Center. Eskell holds an MFA (Queens College), lives/works in the NY area and keeps a studio in Chelsea.
